New England North West residents are being asked to have their say at two local government public forums, which will be held next month.
A parliamentary committee is inquiring into Fit for the Future reforms and will host hearings in Sydney and Armidale on August 10 and 18.
It’s seeking participants to speak at the events, particularly those who believe they’ll be impacted by forced amalgamations.
The inquiry also aims to examine the financial sustainability of the local government sector.
