Tamworth basketballer Nick Kay is taking the next step in his career, signing with the Townsville Crocodiles NBL franchise.
The 22 year old has inked a two year deal in Australia, and has joined the squad immediately for pre-season training.
It comes after the centre averaged 20 points per game for Denver’s Metro State University during the American College season.
Kay is seen as one of the best to come through MSU, finishing in the school’s all-time top five for games played, rebounds and scoring.
