THREE CHARGED AFTER POLICE UNCOVER 95KG OF COCAINE

A raid on a cruise ship docked in Sydney Harbour has uncovered 95kg of cocaine and led to the arrest of three Canadian nationals.
Australian Federal Police and Australian Border Force officers searched the vessel when it berthed in Sydney yesterday.
The 95kg of cocaine was allegedly found packed in suitcases and a 63-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 23-year old woman were subsequently arrested by AFP officers.
All three are Canadian nationals and have been charged with importing a commercial quantity of cocaine.
The charge carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.
The joint operation was conducted with involvement from US, Canadian and New Zealand customs and border agencies.
The three charged Canadians are due to face the Sydney Local Court today.
