The Central Coast Mariners are believed to be moving closer towards signing former Liverpool youth player Adam Dawson.
The 23-year-old forward has played for a number of English lower-league clubs over the past few years, but has struggled to secure regular game-time.
The club had no comment on the deal, but a transfer is expected to be finalised sometime next week.
