NORTHS HOLD ONTO HOCKEY’S STANBURY-MOANE CUP

Norths have claimed the Stanbury-Moane Cup over Wests for the 7th straight year.
Contested over all grades, Matt Dawson opened the scoring for Norths in the men’s premier league from a penalty corner.
Wests responded through Chris Boyle to make it one-all.
From there it was one-way traffic.
Jordan Willott and James Piper combined to make it 2-1 to Norths.
Dawson scored again from a penalty corner to make it 3-1.
When Ben Howey took aim from long range, Norths were on their way to victory.
The score blew out to 6-1, before the game ended 9-4.
