Some sad news for the Hunter rugby community, with popular figure, Peter ‘Tank’ Saunders, passing away at the age of 70.
As a player, he represented the Waratahs, before going on to become a respected referee.
He was also a president and life member of Newcastle and Hunter Rugby.
