An Upper Hunter lottery player has ended the week on a high, discovering they’re $200,000 richer after checking their ticket almost a month after the draw.
The Aberdeen local purchased the winning entry from a local newsagency ahead of the July 3 draw, only discovered the windfall this week.
“The win has generated plenty of excitement in town and lots of questions from our customers,” said newsagency owner Julie Burgess.
