Following a lengthy community consultation process and a review of finances, the Liverpool Plains Shire Council believes it is Fit for the Future.
It’s ready to submit its application by next Tuesday’s deadline, as a stand alone council.
After a 28 day public exhibition, its 2015/16 operational plan was adopted this week.
Council will continue to pursue a resource sharing proposal with Gunnedah Shire Council.
