The running of the Cessnock Cup meeting was postponed two weeks ago because of wet weather,
and today the rescheduled race was also washed out.
Five races were completed today before stewards called the meeting off.
NJC officials are hoping the cup can now be run next Tuesday – nominations for the race close tomorrow afternoon.
