Tamworth’s economy has been boosted by more than $4-million over the past fortnight, thanks to this year’s National Cutting Horse Association Futurity.
The event wrapped up on Sunday after a full program, including the Open Futurity, annual sale and rodeo night.
750 competitors travelled from across the country to try their luck at scoring a portion of $700,000 in prize money.
Numbers for the main event were up this year -something organisers hope will continue in 2016.
