Rescuers had to contend with early morning fog when they went to the aid
of a man following a quad bike accident at Port Stephens today.
The vehicle rolled onto the 35-year-old, who’d been returning from riding on dunes near Bobs Farm.
A companion freed him and alerted authorities around 4am.
The rider suffered multiple injuries and is in a stable condition at John Hunter Hospital.
