The Manning Valley has taken on a distinctly oriental flavour as part of its week-long Asian Festival.
Students from Taree High were today given tips from acclaimed artist Jason Wing, while helping paint a mural at the art gallery.
“I was most happy to be able to be a part of this project because I am Asian and my parents were immigrants and I am really happy I get to like come in and do some activities to celebrate the Asian culture in Australia.”
The celebrations culminate with a food festival on Sunday.
