This Saturday’s race meeting at Broadmeadow will honour the SES, who worked tirelessly during the recent storm.
“We hope to see as many of the volunteer workers here as possible, they’ll get in free, it’s a family day, jumping castles, it’s an opportunity to say thank you.”
The Salvation Army will also be on hand, raising money for the disaster appeal.
