The Fair Work Ombudsman is warning workers to know how much they should be paid, after three Central Coast childcare centres were found to be underpaying their staff.
Six random audits conducted on short-term childcare centres in the Hunter and Central Coast region found 32 staff across five centres had been underpaid a total of almost $10,000.
The centres have since back-paid the employees.
