Dragon boat clubs on the north coast are struggling to find enough men to compete in their upcoming regatta at Urunga in early May.
The Clarence Coast Club based in Yamba will only be sending a women’s crew and other clubs are also understood to be finding it difficult to fill numbers for the men’s races.
15 clubs will battle it out on the Kalang River on Sunday week.
