The Old Bar Clams have booked a spot in Mid North Coast Rugby’s southern pool grand final, after edging out traditional rivals the Forster-Tuncurry Dolphins by just one point in the major semi final.
Gloucester and Manning River had the same margin in the minor semi, but the undisputed match of the round was the top-of-the-table clash.
The Clams admitted to some sloppy play and missed opportunities against Foster-Tuncurry, but they’re happy to take the win and a spot in the season decider.
While the Clams cool their heels next weekend, the Dolphins will take on the Gloucester Cockies for the remaining grand final berth.
