$100 MILLION OF DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS APPROVED BY CLARENCE VALLEY COUNCIL

Investment in Clarence Valley development projects has reached its highest point in more than a decade.
$100 million worth of development applications have been approved by the Clarence Valley Council in the first ten months of this financial year.
A $30,000 jump on this time last year.
“The biggest one has been the private hospital DO which is about $12 million, the rest of it has been made up of smaller developments all adding to the mix. A lot of smaller things which is probably good because it shows a good underlying strength.”
Council says the influx of work for the new Grafton Jail, the new bridge, and Pacific Highway upgrade works has bolstered confidence in the region’s construction sector.
