Heavy machinery was brought in at the Coffs Harbour Showgrounds today to install new arena lights.
It’s been a long time coming for the Show Society, after the call was put out for more energy efficient metal lights, to replace the outdated timber poles.
The $96,000 project is being funded by the State Government.
“It’s bringing us into the new area of usage, the old light towers had seen their day, almost 50 years old, these towers are more efficient and a brighter light.”
