Avoca rugby player Jesse Parahi’s olympic dream became a reality with the 27 year-old officially named in the sevens squad.
Parahi returned to the code just five months after calling it quits, to pursue a rugby league career at the Wests Tigers.
The forward has made 33 appearances for Australia in the past five years, and was instrumental in helping them qualify for Rio.
