Redfern has beaten North Newcastle, in the grand final of the New South Wales women’s premiership.
The Sydney side dominated the opening hour.
A try early in the second half made it 22-0.
North Newcastle finally made it on the board after 73 minutes.
The visitors added two more tries in the final minutes, but it was too late, Redfern winning 26 to 16.
