Yamba surfer Chris Zaffis says he’s well placed to take out the final of the under 18s at the Summer Series in Yamba later this month.
The teenager’s confidence comes after snatching his first win for the year in a nail biting final at Cronulla.
He scored 12.66 while Cronulla’s Nathan Martin finished second.
Zaffis also nabbed the best wave of the competition.
