After three months of speculation about Marshall Barker’s rugby league future, the former North Tamworth captain has signed with Moree for this season.
Group 4 officials have confirmed they’ve received a release request for the Greater Northern Tigers representative.
It’ll be a return home for the forward, having last pulled on the white and blue in 2012.
The loss of Barker is a massive blow to the Bears title defence, especially after announcing him as a co-coach in November.
