The men’s and women’s semi finals at surfing’s Margaret River Pro were placed on hold today.
Merewether’s Ryan Callinan was eliminated last night our time, beaten in the quarters by fellow Aussie, Julian Wilson.
The world number two scored a seven and a six-point-two to establish a healthy lead.
Callinan could only produce a high four and a six-point-six.
The result will still see the Merewether local jump back into the Championship Tour’s top 10, after four rounds.
