A car free town centre is one of the most popular ideas being put forward by residents as part of the Byron Bay masterplan.
A consultant was appointed by council to seek community feedback, amid fears the CBD doesn’t reflect its residents.
Other popular ideas included an upgrade to Railway and Apex Park, and more public spaces.
The community’s next opportunity to contribute to the masterplan is a roundtable to be held at Byron High School on March 7.
