The new year will bring a number of changes to Port Macquarie’s Community College, as it refocuses itself as a Vocational Education and Training campus.
From 2014 it will be renamed SkillsLink Training, with a reduction in the number of general lifestyle courses on offer.
“Our aim is to really make this a really strong provider in the town in the area in that sort of vocational training so we’ll actually be working very hard on advertising and re-branding.”
It’s hoped courses from several industry areas including Aged Care, Information Technology and Hospitality will grow in popularity.
