After leading North Shelley to the Surfest Teams Challenge title on Sunday, Russ Molony is now looking to secure a record 10th Indigenous Surfest Classic crown.
Molony was a standout on Sunday, producing a 5.7 on the last wave of the final to overcome defending champions North Narrabeen.
But he says he won’t be focussed on the accolades when he hits the water tomorrow, instead, he’s relishing the chance to catch up with friends from across the country.
