Organisers are confident Surf-A-Rama can be restored to it’s former glory, when it gets underway at Avoca Beach this Friday.
An iconic competition of the 80’s, Surf-A-Rama was revived in 2011 and has been building in popularity since.
This year more than 120 men and women will take to the water.
Locals Jess Grimwood and Shane Holmes will be among those looking to keep the trophies on the Coast.
The event runs until Sunday.
