WEATHER UPDATE: HOT AND ACTIVE

There is lots of heat lingering over the broadcast area this week along with a stalled trough that plans to set up shop over the ranges and fire up showers and storms each day. Those storms have the potential to become severe as the week rolls on threatening some of the populated areas along the coast such as Grafton and Coffs Harbour.

At this stage the Christmas forecast is looking pretty good. There will be a change moving in from the south. So Christmas Day at this point will probably be hot with that change reaching the Hunter and Central Coast during the afternoon triggering showers and storms.

It is still a long way off but we’ll check that Christmas Day chart and forecast each day here online.
