Small businesses in Tamworth can expect to see a cut in red tape in 2015 thanks to a new partnership.
Council and the Business Chamber have joined the Small Business Friendly Councils Initiative, which aims to grow business relationships with government.
“We need to simplify processes, whether it’s for food businesses, whether it’s for retailers, if it’s in relation to DA’s and they want a point of contact and or if it’s a change of use for a building, just want to know where to go, who to talk to and do it as quickly and simply as possible.”
The group will be formed by March next year.
