After weeks of wet weather, the return of Baseball on the Far North Coast had to be postponed today.
Council workers have been unable to get onto the grounds at Albert Park in Lismore to prepare it for the first round of the season, so they remain closed.
Dedicated volunteers instead started work on the green today.
The baseball season debut will instead take place next Saturday.
