ICAC FREEZES REPORT INTO NEWCASTLE AND CENTRAL COAST POLITICAL DONATIONS

The ICAC has postponed the delivery of its report into alleged illegal political donations in the Hunter, as it appeals to the High Court to try to investigate state prosecutor Margaret Cunneen.

Her successful appeal yesterday, stopping the watchdog from probing claims she perverted the course of justice, has lead the body to question its powers.
