The Port Macquarie Sharks began pre-season training at Oxley Oval on Wednesday night with new captain-coach Matt Shipway.
The sessions will focus on team fitness before the start of next season.
There’ll only be a few new faces joining the side, with most of last year’s squad signing on for the 2015 competition.
The Sharks finished fourth on the group three ladder last year, after going down to Old Bar in the semi final.
