Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted and left with serious head injuries in Wee Waa.
At around 12.30 yesterday morning, the 28-year-old was walking along Rose Street, when he was attacked from behind and punched in the head.
He was taken to Wee Waa Hospital – before being transferred to Tamworth Hospital with a fractured skull and cheek bone.
