A suburban cat is being hailed a hero after saving his owner from a fiery blaze at Elanora.
‘Tiger’ hissed and screeched until his beloved 68 year old owner woke, and was able to escape the burning home.
It took four hours for fire crews to win the fight.
By then, there was little to be salvaged.
The home was destroyed but Tiger escaped unharmed.
