The Sydney Swans will return to the New England North West for another year in a bid to continue the sport’s growth in the region.
After Gunnedah product Sam Naismith made his senior debut this year for the club, the Swans are hopeful of identifying another AFL talent.
Aussie Rules is beginning to make it’s mark in the area, having just been announced as the newest Northern Inland Academy of Sport squad addition.
The Swans will be in Tamworth and Armidale in February, while visiting players will be announced closer to the event.
