The Golden Guitar finalists have been announced, with John Williamson’s’ ‘Clouds over Tamworth’ nominated for Song of the Year.
Williamson is in line for another four awards, including Male Artist of the Year.
It comes less than 12 months after he quit as President of the Country Music Association of Australia, after criticising Adam Harvey and Troy Cassar-Daley for being too ‘American’.
Kasey Chambers and Luke O’Shea also have five nominations each.
