Conditions were ideal on the water today for day one of the ‘Calling All Skippers Regatta’ at Lake Munmorah.
Hello ,I am the current president of Budgewoi sailing club . I would like to thank NBN for coming along to our Calling All Skippers. Regatta whilst we were hosting the F18 State Titles. It was a great weekend .
The Regatta is held each year in memory of my father Ashley Chapman who was the founder of BSC over forty years ago. He sailed from the age of 7-97 yrs and died aged 99 in 2012. He was a local celebrity, due to his efforts to bring sailing to the attention of children in the community .when he died , he had an obituary in the Sydney morning herald. He was the epitome of what sailing is about and would be proud that our club is continuing on with this ideal. Thank You again, for filming BSC and the visiting sailors in action.
