A 20-year-old Tamworth woman is facing a raft of charges after allegedly defrauding her employer out of thousands of dollars.
Police say the alleged offences occurred at a Tamworth agri-business between December 2012 and May this year.
“A number of fraudulent funds transfers within that business, and we estimate that it is in the vicinity of $30,000.”
Yesterday, Oxley detectives charged the woman with larceny as a clerk.
She’ll appear before Tamworth Local court at a later date.
