It’s full steam ahead for this weekend’s train festival, which celebrates the 85th anniversary of passenger services.
“It came up here like a rocket from Sydney we’ve steamed all the way up and early most of the way so remarkably well.”
With plans to truncate the line in December, it could be the last steam train seen in the city.
