Defending champion Aaron Royle from Newcastle has won his second straight Noosa Triathlon crown, after outsprinting Commonwealth Games teammates Dan Wilson and Ryan Bailie in a dramatic finish.
Royle crossed the line in just under an hour and 48 minutes.
Gold Coaster Ashleigh Gentle also took out her second Noosa title, winning the women’s event in a time of just over two hours.
