Taree-trained gelding Youthful Jack has achieved a milestone, surpassing the $1-million mark for career earnings.
Youthful Jack claimed his second straight win in the Thomas Lyons Stakes at Hobart over the weekend, under the guidance of champion jockey Robert Thompson.
It’s the first million dollar horse for veteran trainer and part-owner Ross Stitt.
Youthful Jack will now race in the $100,000 George Adams Stakes in a fortnight – his final race in the Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival.
