Suzy Batkovic is about to reach another milestone in her impressive career, with the Newcastle basketballer set to chalk up 50 WNBL games for Townsville.
Batkovic and her teammates have made a great start to the season, edging out Bendigo by three last weekend – the side that beat them in the grand final.
“The goal is to win a championship here. We were hoping that was going to be last season, getting so close again but third time lucky is what I’m running with.”
