Armidale’s Rologas playing fields are one of the city’s most valuable multi-purpose sporting facilities, and they’re set for a major facelift.
The state government has agreed to pay off any interest generated by a million-dollar loan taken out by Armidale Dumaresq Council for the upgrade, which will include new change rooms, amenities and a canteen.
The assistance is expected to be worth around $200,000.
