A full scale air and water search is underway to find a fisherman, missing on the mid north coast.
Police say the 32-year-old was fishing near the bridge at Wallis Lake in Tuncurry before 2pm, when he entered the water to retrieve an object.
Police, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Marine Rescue and surf lifesavers are involved in the search.
