Newcastle Jets coach Phil Stubbins says he has the support of management, despite another loss.
The Jets remain winless after six rounds, but Stubbins say he hasn’t felt any pressure from club bosses.
The coach says a lot of questions need to be asked, especially after Friday’s 4-nil loss to Brisbane Roar, but replacing him is “100 per cent not the answer” and says the problems at the Jets can’t be fixed in six weeks.
The team faces another tough test this weekend, against the Western Sydney Wanderers.
The Asian Champions are also winless so far this A-League season.
