A man is lucky to be alive after flipping his four-wheel-drive in a serious crash west of Casino this morning.
It’s believed the vehicle was travelling along the Bruxner highway near Tabulam at about 10 o’clock when it clipped a guard rail and rolled onto the roof.
Emergency services worked to free the 56-year-old driver, who was trapped inside.
He was airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital suffering critical head injuries, and is currently in a stable condition.
