Two men have been injured in a vicious attack in near Byron Bay last night, after intruders armed with a shotgun, sledge hammer and knife entered their Wilfred Street home.
A 42-year-old sustained a deep cut to his back while the other was treated in hospital for a head injury.
Police are appealing for witnesses, it’s believed the offenders fled in a white hilux ute.
