There are reports the Bulldogs have managed to get Newcastle brothers, Sione, Chanel and Pat Mata’utia to agree to four-year deals, which would start in 2016.
The brothers are currently under contract at Newcastle until the end of 2015 and have reportedly told management they’re keen to stay.
The Knights have issued a statement, saying the club remains in negotiations with all three players… and officials are confident the sought-after trio will soon sign long-term deals with Newcastle.
