The state opposition continues to try and woo Hunter voters, with John Robertson and his team today promising $39-million to complete stage one of the Glendale Interchange, if Labor wins the March election.
“That will see the planning and construction of the Pennant Street bridge and guarantee completion of the realignment and extension of Glendale Drive and extension of Stockton Drive”
The money would come from the Newcastle Port sale proceeds.
