TAMWORTH’S HOUSE WITH NO STEPS OFFICIALLY OPENS NEW HOME

The House with No Steps has been operating in town for nearly three years,
and today, the charity’s first, very own office was officially opened.
The charity supports people with a disability, helping them live as independently as possible.
The development was needed to support the charity’s growing client base, which has jumped from just three people to more than 20 over the last two and a half years.
Services on offer include financial management, respite, accommodation and community support.
“We just love the fact that in regional communities the community comes together and really gets involved in the lives of their citizens, including people with a disability and that makes our job a whole lot easier.”
